Karelian bear dog is a Finland national breed. This breed was used for hunting of bears, mooses and other big wild animals. At The Czech republic are Karelian bear dogs used for hunting of wild pigs and other wild animals. They are great on trails. Karelian Bear dogs can be good family dogs too. When they are right sicialized they are hard of wild animals but very friendly with home pets. Karelian Bear dog loves their owner and all his family, specially the childrens. They can be train for obedience, agility, caniscross, triatlon, and, of course, hunting.
